Any questions about sorority recruitment may be directed to msu.cpcrecruitment@murraystate.edu.

Kade Gambill, 麻花导航 student activities coordinator and advisor to Student Government Association, said 158 men went through Interfraternity Council (IFC) recruitment this fall. The largest cohort was Sigma Phi Epsilon with 28 new members. Several chapters are extending bids through continuous recruitment this fall, so it鈥檚 not too late to join. Spring recruitment will open on Jan. 20, 2026. Any questions may be directed to msu.greeklife@murraystate.edu.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), the coordinating body of nine member historically African American Greek letter organizations, recruitment operates a bit differently, said Kim Newbern, assistant director of the Curris Center and Student Life. NPHC intake happens throughout the semester and new members are revealed to the campus at the end of the semester. The latest NPHC figures show 12 new members across five sororities and fraternities.

Newbern said between Panhellenic, IFC and NPHC recruitment, she is very pleased.

鈥淲e are thrilled to welcome the newest members of our fraternities and sororities,鈥 said Newbern. 鈥淚 am confident they will continue the proud legacy of leadership, scholarship, service and philanthropy that defines our Greek community. It鈥檚 inspiring to see so many students eager to join brotherhoods and sisterhoods that make a lasting impact on both our campus and the broader community!鈥
